OK this happened last night but it was freaking awesome.
My mother came over for dinner and she said she needed to talk to me. She said that my grandmother was helping out my oldest sister with her upcoming wedding and giving her $5,000. She is also helping out my other sister b/c she just closed on her new house and giving her $5,000. So to keep things even (She knows I'm looking to buy my first house in January) she handed over a check to me for $5,000.
I have never been given a large gift like this before so I was just speechless. But it crtainly made for a great day.
